Ninety Six High School was built in August 1963 and graduated its first class of seniors the next year. The present student population is 461 with a faculty of 35 members. School administration consists of a principal, two assistant principals, and two guidance counselors. NSHS is classified by the S.C. High School League as 1-A school.
