Palmetto Fellows: final awards/ 3 criteria: SAT 1200/ACT 27; GPA 3.5; Rank-top 6% at end of senior year or SAT 1400/ACT 32 w/4.0 GPA at end of senior year. See guidance if you qualify.
LIFE Scholarship: For 4 year colleges/universities must meet 2 out of 3 of the following criteria: SAT 1100/ACT 24; GPA-3.0; top 30% of graduating class. For 2 year schools or technical colleges must only have 3.0 GPA. There is no application for this. It will be determined by final transcript.
HOPE Scholarship: 3.0 GPA (freshman year only) No application for this. It will be determined by final transcript.

1. Jan. 29th is the registration deadline for the March 1st SAT.
2. March 7th is the registration deadline for the April 12th ACT.
3. Let Mrs. Ward or Mrs. Campbell know when you hear from colleges. We need copies
of acceptance letters and any scholarship award letters.
4. Financial Aid Night is Jan. 22 at 6pm in the NSHS media center. (See flyer)
5. NSHS is hosting the "Making College Count" program on January 29th. This program
is designed to help seniors navigate the transition from high school to college.
6. The majority of seniors have indicated their post secondary plans and/or completed
their applications. If you would like to discuss these plans, please call the
guidance department at 543-2911.
