Dr. Taylor grew up in Greenville, SC where she graduated from Wade Hampton High

from Erskine College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from

The Ohio State University. In 2011, Dr. Taylor earned her PhD in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Taylor started her career as an accountant in Phoenix, Arizona. Later, she

established her home in Greenwood and moved from the field of accounting to teaching and coaching with the goal of making a positive impact on the lives of her students. With over 10 years of teaching experience at Abbeville High School, she was promoted to the position of assistant principal and then principal. In 2005, she became the principal at Greenwood High School and later was promoted to the Executive Director of Secondary Education in Greenwood School District 50.

Today, Dr. Taylor is proud to serve as Superintendent of the Greenwood County School District 52 in Ninety Six. Dr. Taylor’s goal is to utilize her education and experiences to serve as the Superintendent in District 52. One of Dr. Taylor’s outstanding accomplishments is collaborating with higher education to extend the pathways for students through Dual Enrollment opportunities at Piedmont Technical College and Lander University. She believes that the district’s mission is to help identify students’ talents and interests and match those with opportunities and experiences in our

schools, community, and state. Dr. Taylor states, “Every child has the potential to have a career and each child’s career path is like a puzzle. Today they may be working on a carpentry distinction and tomorrow a business education degree so that when putting these two together it equals a career.” Dr. Taylor believes that all students have a career path and it is the responsibility of the school district to work collaboratively with families and the community to provide experiences to reach each child’s full potential.

Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, hiking in the mountains, and participating in her church.

My name is Paul Spadaro, and I have the privilege of currently serving as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in Greenwood School District 52. I received my Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education in 2003, attending Coastal Carolina University (CCU). I obtained my Master’s in Education Administration at Cambridge College in 2006. I was in the first cohort of the ED. S program at CCU and graduated in 2012. Currently, I am in my final year of the doctoral program at CCU with a specialization in educational leadership.

My career goal is to become a superintendent of a school district. Serving as the Assistant Superintendent of a dynamic school district helped me develop the analytical and critical thinking skills needed to become a successful leader of an organization. I live by the phrase there is an answer for every child. Our duty as educational professionals is to find solutions for all students.

I enjoy spending time with my family, and I love playing golf, walking, and swimming.
