Greenwood School District 52 Announces eLearning Day on Monday, February 2nd

Greenwood School District 52 will operate on an eLearning Day schedule on Monday, February 2, due to snow and ice road conditions, which may make travel unsafe for school buses and drivers, as well as frigid temperatures expected across the area.

All school buildings will be closed to students, and students should follow the district’s established eLearning procedures. E-Learning assignments will be posted to Google Classroom or Class Dojo for all students in grades K-12. Completion of the work will count as attendance for the day. Students should complete all the assigned work from their teacher. Teachers will be available via email/Dojo during the day. Additional guidance regarding instruction and attendance will be shared directly with families and staff.

High school students who take classes at Piedmont Technical College or Lander University should continue to follow the instructions from those schools. Students enrolled in classes at G. Frank Russell Technology Center should contact their teachers to obtain instructions for Monday’s classes. Families are encouraged to check district communication channels for additional guidance and updates.
