Each of these milestones is a building block in the legacy we are creating together. It reflects the passion, teamwork, and resilience that define our schools and community each and every day.
During this school year, I'm truly excited about the journey that lies ahead. In the words of Jim Collins, author of Good to Great, we are not aiming to be "good because good is the enemy of great. We are aiming for greatness, for a lasting impact that goes far beyond the classroom walls."
This year, remember this idea: Every employee is a builder of our district's path to greatness. Every lesson taught, meal prepared, bus driven, and floor cleaned is a brick laid on that path. It all matters, and most importantly, everyone matters! While we are extremely proud of our accomplishments last school year, this year offers another opportunity to start a new chapter in our book of excellence. Our tireless efforts have allowed our students to excel in the classroom, on the playing field, and in the community. One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is watching our students in action and meeting all of the challenges and expectations set forth by our teachers. As your Superintendent, I will continue to maintain and grow the culture in our district, providing every student and staff member with a sense of belonging that supports our efforts towards continuous improvement across the board.
